Intersection closed due to fatal head-on collision
An intersection in Glendale was closed on Friday morning following a fatal head-on collision. The accident occurred at 6:20 a.m. on Jan. 23 at the intersection of 51st and Peoria Avenues. According to Glendale Police, a car and an SUV collided head-on, resulting in the death of one man and causing non-life-threatening injuries to another. The intersection will remain closed for an extended period, so motorists are advised to find alternate routes.
