74-year-old woman dies in Lawrence County crash
LAWRENCE COUNTY, Mo. — Troopers have reported that a 74-year-old woman has died after a crash in Lawrence County on Monday afternoon. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report, the Marionville, Missouri, woman crashed a vehicle around 1:40 p.m. on Missouri Route 39, three miles north of Aurora. The report says the woman was driving a 1993 Chevrolet delivery vehicle south when it skidded, traveled off the road, and overturned, ejecting her. MSHP states that the woman was pronounced dead by Lawrence County Coroner Scott Lakin around 1:50 p.m. Law enforcement reports that the woman was not wearing a seatbelt during the incident. Officials note that the next of kin has been notified. This is the 67th fatality in 2026 for Troop D.
