I-76 EB closed due to multiple vehicle crash
NORTH JACKSON, Ohio (WKBN) -- A part of Interstate 76 is closed in the North Jackson area due to a multiple-vehicle crash. All lanes are closed on I-76 eastbound between N. Newton Falls and N. Bailey roads, as of 12:15 p.m. Investigators say troopers in Portage County recorded a motorcyclist traveling at 100 miles per hour prior to the crash. The motorcycle and two cars were involved. The motorcycle could be seen lying in the grassy median. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition. First News will update this story as we learn more information.
