Georgetown police investigating fatal crash resulting in road closures
Georgetown Police responded to a fatal crash Sunday afternoon, the police department stated. The crash was first reported at 11:50 a.m., with officials stating that it took place at Williams Drive and Woodlake. All Eastbound Williams Drive at Woodlake were shut down due to the crash. ALSO: Witness inside Townlake YMCA says the officer-involved shooting was "a little disturbing" The crash was reported to be fatal at 12:42 p.m., with eastbound traffic diverted at Woodlake and westbound traffic shut down and diverted at Cedar Lake Blvd. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area until further notice.
