Fiery crash knocks down pole, shuts down Lebanon County road
A fiery crash shut down a road in Lebanon County, according to emergency dispatchers. Video above: Headlines from WGAL News 8 Today. Two vehicles collided in the 1800 block of Thompson Avenue in North Annville Township around 7:15 a.m. on Monday. Dispatchers said the crash sparked a fire near a barn, prompting additional crews to respond. The fire did not spread to the barn. The crash also knocked down a pole, according to dispatchers. Thompson Avenue is closed in both directions between Cedar Run and Helmandale roads. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes. Dispatch said injuries were reported, but it's unclear how many people were transported. Multiple EMS units were called to the scene.
