FD: Severe crash in rural Cameron County
Correction: The Texas Department of Public Safety informed ValleyCentral that the accident was not as severe as initially reported by the Los Fresnos Fire Department. In rural Cameron County, a two-vehicle collision is currently under investigation by DPS. Responding to the incident on FM 1847 and FM 106 this morning were officials from the Los Fresnos Fire Department and EMS, according to a Los Fresnos Police Department representative speaking to ValleyCentral. The Los Fresnos Fire Department also issued a warning on social media about the dense fog in the area affecting visibility and advised caution to drivers. The Department of Public Safety clarified to ValleyCentral that the incident is not classified as a major crash. Further information about the incident is currently limited.
