A 21-year-old woman from Greenwood tragically passed away in a crash in Boone County on Saturday evening due to weather-related conditions. The incident occurred around 5:09 p.m. near US 421 and County Road 100 N, when her pickup truck lost control, hit a tree, and caught fire. Jordan Perry was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead. The Boone County Sheriff's Office has requested assistance from the Boone County Fatal Alcohol Crash Team (FACT) for further investigation.
