Fatal pedestrian incident involving semi-truck in Southlake
Authorities in Southlake responded to an incident early Saturday morning involving a pedestrian and a semi-truck on State Highway 114 westbound. The pedestrian, who had been in an earlier single-vehicle crash in the same area, was fatally struck while attempting to cross the highway. The pedestrian, who has not been identified pending notification of family, was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver stayed at the site and is assisting with the investigation. While the crash investigation continues, all westbound lanes of State Highway 114 have been reopened.
