Fatal pedestrian-car collision in Oceanside
A pedestrian tragically lost their life in a fatal accident on Friday evening in Oceanside, California. The incident occurred at the intersection of Oceanside Boulevard and College Boulevard. The individual, an adult male, was struck by a black Ford Mustang while seated on the center median. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Mustang, also an adult male, cooperated with authorities and there is no suspicion of drug or alcohol involvement. The Oceanside Police Department's Traffic Services Unit is conducting an investigation into the incident. The victim's identity has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
