Fatal early morning accident: Pedestrian struck and killed while changing tire
A tragic incident occurred in Stockton on Friday when a person was fatally struck by a vehicle while changing a tire. The California Highway Patrol reported that the individual was hit on southbound I-5, north of Roth Road, at around 4:28 a.m. Sadly, the person changing the tire passed away at the scene, while the driver of the vehicle was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident, and CHP mentioned that DUI does not seem to have played a role in this crash.
