Fatal DeKalb County crash injures 2
DeKalb County Police are currently looking into a multiple-vehicle crash that resulted in the death of one man and injuries to two others on Saturday afternoon. The incident occurred at the intersection of Covington Highway and Glenwood Road around 1:30 p.m. An initial collision occurred when a driver exiting a driveway collided with an SUV, causing the SUV to overturn and then collide with a third vehicle. The SUV driver sadly passed away, while the other two individuals were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not disclosed the identity of the deceased and are still investigating the situation, including the potential for charges against the driver involved in the initial collision.
