Fatal crash involving motorcycle, SUV near NE 24th Ave and Burnside St closes streets
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Police are investigating a severe crash in which at least one person died in Northeast Portland Monday night. The crash happened near Northeast 24th Avenue and East Burnside Street. Around 10 p.m., KOIN 6 News crews were on the scene and saw what appeared to be a damaged motorcycle and SUV involved in the crash. The surrounding streets were closed off with caution tape. Several Portland police officers were on the scene, as well as an ambulance. KOIN 6 reached out to the Portland Police Bureau for more information.
