Fatal crash in Clinton County leaves 1 dead, 3 injured

A tragic incident involving a 22-year-old man from Lawson, Missouri, occurred on Thursday morning in northern Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the man was driving a 2015 Toyota Highlander on Route PP when it veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a 2022 Freightliner trash truck, then was subsequently hit by a 2017 GMC Sierra van. The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the GMC sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to University Health in Kansas City. The two occupants of the trash truck were taken to Liberty Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
