Deadly crash reported in creek near Silver Lake
SHAWNEE COUNTY (KSNT) - Deputies and state troopers are at the scene of a deadly crash near the Silver Lake area Wednesday. Abigail Christian with the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office said deputies are currently at the scene, alongside other first responders, investigating a one-vehicle crash. She said the crash was initially reported shortly after 2:35 p.m. on July 22 and is in the area of Northwest 21st Street and Northwest Perry Road. First responders at the scene told a 27 News reporter that a vehicle was located in a nearby creek. At least one person is confirmed dead. We are tracking this story.
