5‑year‑old set to be discharged after severe boating accident
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- A little boy from Newburgh is finally heading home after spending weeks in the hospital after a boating accident. The family delivered the good news that 5‑year‑old Jentry Pace is set to be discharged on Thursday. Jentry was seriously hurt on July 5 while out on Patoka Lake with his family. He was hit by a boat propeller while swimming. Jentry's father is an Ohio Township fire captain. He and several off‑duty first responders jumped into action and saved Jentry's life.
