Fatal car and motorcycle collision in Batavia Township
A fatal collision involving a motorcycle and two cars occurred in Batavia Township on Tuesday afternoon, resulting in the death of one individual. The incident occurred around 4:13 p.m. on Chapel Road near State Route 132. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that a 37-year-old man was riding the motorcycle eastbound on Chapel Road and attempted to pass a car in the same lane. The motorcycle subsequently collided with another car driven by a juvenile traveling westbound. The motorcyclist, identified as Paul Creed, died at the scene due to not wearing a helmet. The driver of the second car sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. The Batavia Post of OSHP is currently investigating the crash.
