Delays expected as fatal crash closes lanes on Highway 231
BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB)- A Major traffic crash in the area of Lindsey Crossing and Pipeline Road has shut down parts of Highway 231. The Florida Highway Patrol has taken over the investigation. The crash is listed as fatal on their website. As of 3:00 p.m., one northbound and one southbound lane of Highway 231 are closed. Officials are working to reroute traffic to Highway 390 using Cato Road. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to take another route.
