Fatal Accident: Truck plunges into Nevada City creek from Highway 49
A fatal accident occurred on Wednesday evening when a driver lost control of their pickup truck and plunged into Deer Creek in Nevada City. The driver, an adult man who was the only occupant of the vehicle, later passed away from his injuries at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. The incident, which took place on southbound Highway 49 near the Broad Street off-ramp, is currently being investigated by the California Highway Patrol's Grass Valley division.
