Drivers pull man out of burning car after crash on I-495 in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Several people stopped and pulled a driver out of their burning car after they crashed on Interstate 495 on Monday evening. Firefighters with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service were called to I-495 near exit 41 for reports of a single-car crash at around 7:30 p.m. The car caught on fire, and the driver was trapped inside. Several drivers pulled over and pulled the "dazed" driver from the car, which was fully engulfed in flames and burning up, fire officials said. The driver, an adult, was taken to the hospital.
