Driver taken to hospital after 2-car crash leaves vehicle on its side in Beaverton
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A driver was sent to the hospital after a two-car crash in Beaverton Saturday night, authorities said. Just before 11 p.m., Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue said in a post on social media that firefighters were on the scene of a crash near Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway and the Canyon Northbound off-ramp. One of the vehicles was on its side and required extrication to rescue the driver. The other vehicle was a bus, with no passengers and no reported injuries, TVF&R said. About 30 minutes later, firefighters said the patient was successfully removed from the vehicle and taken to a hospital by ambulance.
