A man was killed after being thrown out of the car in a solo car crash on Friday. A passerby called 911 after finding a car that was overturned car and an unresponsive man in the area of Clovis Avenue and Jefferson Avenue at around 3:30 a.m. According to the investigation, the man was driving a Honda sedan southbound on Clovis Avenue when the car veered to the right for reasons still under investigation. The car traveled off the roadway into a dirt field, struck a pole, and overturned into a grape vineyard. The man was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
