Deputies: 1 critical after rollover crash in Cannon Township
CANNON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — One person died following after a crash in Cannon Township Monday morning, deputies confirmed. The single-car crash happened around 6:20 a.m. on Pettis Avenue NE between 5 Mile and Cannonsburg roads. The Kent County Sheriff's Office said a vehicle lost control, rolled and hit a guardrail. The passenger in the car, a 25-year-old Jackson man, was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. Pettis Avenue was shut down in the area as emergency responders and investigators were on scene, but later reopened. The crash remained under investigation.
