Deadly two-vehicle semi collision in Huron
Law enforcement officials in Beadle County are currently looking into a collision involving two vehicles that resulted in the death of one man on Monday morning. Reports from the Department of Public Safety indicate that a car heading north failed to stop at an intersection, causing a collision with an eastbound semi-truck. The impact of the crash caused the car to veer off the road. Tragically, the driver of the car sustained fatal injuries. As a result of the incident, the eastbound lanes of US 14 were shut down for approximately five hours.
