Cyclist on electric bike hurt in collision on Pacific Coast Highway in Hermosa Beach
A man in his 50s was seriously injured in an e-bike accident on Pacific Coast Highway in Hermosa Beach on Monday evening. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. near the 1800 block of PCH, as reported by the Hermosa Beach Police Department on social media. Upon arrival, officers found the man with severe injuries and he was transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition. The crash occurred when a driver swerved into the center lane to avoid stopped traffic, colliding with the man on the e-bike. The driver stayed at the scene to assist with the investigation. Police anticipated PCH to be closed for several hours while they continued their work at the site.
