Crash with multiple injuries forces highway closure in Calhoun County
Emergency crews are on the scene of a crash with multiple injuries in Calhoun County.The crash was reported along Iowa Highway 4 near 220th Street, just west of Twin Lakes, shortly before 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Iowa State Patrol officials confirmed there were multiple injuries reported.Highway 4 is blocked in both directions between 210th Street and 220th Street due to the crash. Multiple medical helicopters were routed to the area.The Pocahontas Police Department asked residents to avoid the area due to the crash.This is a developing story.
