Crash on I-70 in Frederick County causes morning delays
FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Traffic was delayed Monday morning on Interstate 70 after multiple vehicles collided in Frederick County. In a post on X, the Maryland Department of Highway Administration noted that the collision occurred in the eastbound lanes near Exit 42. A traffic camera on the highway showed trucks and cars sitting at a standstill before slowly inching forward. It is unclear how many vehicles were involved and if any injuries were reported.
