Crash kills child near home north of Fort Wayne
ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) -- A crash just north of Fort Wayne city limits has killed one child. At around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, police and medics responded to a crash in the 8800 block of Flutter Road, west of the intersection with Wheelock Road. An officer at the scene confirmed with a WANE 15 crew member that the crash was fatal, and a child had died. Not much else is known at this time.
