Crash involving six vehicles snarls Carson City traffic; one taken to hospital
A multi-vehicle crash involving six cars disrupted traffic Tuesday afternoon, forcing authorities to transport one person to a local medical facility. Emergency crews responded to the scene of the pileup at approximately 4:00 p.m. The Carson City Sheriff's Office, the Nevada State Police, and the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) all provided on-scene support to manage traffic and clear the wreckage. A Care Flight medical helicopter was also placed on standby at the scene to assist emergency personnel. The condition of the injured individual has not been released, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation by state and local authorities.
