Grandmother critically injured, child hospitalized in rollover crash
Two people, including a child, have been hospitalized after a vehicle struck a parked car near the Shiloh Crossing apartment complex. Emergency crews responded to the scene at 3170 Cleveland Ave. following reports of a two-vehicle crash. According to the Columbus Division of Fire, a driver traveled through the intersection at high speed and collided head-on with a parked vehicle containing a grandmother and a young child. The impact left one of the vehicles overturned. The grandmother was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The child was also taken to a hospital as well and is currently in stable condition, according to the Columbus Division of Police. The driver of the vehicle that crashed into the parked car is reportedly uninjured. Columbus police have taped off the intersection as investigators work to determine what caused the driver to lose control. All fire companies have cleared the scene.
