Crash involving semi trucks closes northbound I-11 near Boulder City
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Drivers were told to use alternate routes after a crash involving semi trucks closed parts of a Nevada interstate on Monday morning. According to the Nevada State Police on social media, a crash happened on northbound I-11 near mile marker 7 on the morning of Monday, June 22. Police said all northbound I-11 travel lanes were closed and traffic was being diverted off onto the mile marker 2 exit. NSP did not initially say what led to the crash or how many vehicles were involved, but later confirmed the crash involved three semi-tractor-trailers. An RTC traffic camera showed several semi-trucks stopped at the scene. Additionally, police said a white Dodge Ram pickup pulling a gooseneck trailer was also involved in the crash. Police said there were no injuries as of the time of publication. Drivers are asked to use alternate routes and avoid the area. It was not immediately clear how long the road would be closed.
