Crash blocks northbound I5 near Macadam Avenue Saturday morning
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- All northbound lanes of Interstate 5 are closed Saturday after a crash near Macadam Avenue sent two people to the hospital. According to Portland police, the crash involved two semi-trucks, and two people were injured and taken to a nearby hospital. Portland Fire told KOIN 6 that one of the patients is believed to have serious injuries. As of 1:30 p.m., all northbound lanes remain blocked according to ODOT's TripCheck. Drivers in the area are being advised to take a different route. KOIN 6 News has reached out to authorities for more information. This story will be updated when we get a response.
