Cincinnati man dies after crashing into telephone pole, multiple trees

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A Cincinnati man died after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a telephone pole and multiple trees, police said. According to a press release, the crash occurred at 2:15 a.m. on July 26 on Kellogg Avenue in Cincinnati. Police said a 28-year-old driver lost control of his 2021 Dodge Challenger and went off of the road, struck a telephone pole, and multiple trees. Although first responders attempted life-saving measures, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. "Impairment and excessive speed are being investigated as contributed factors to the crash," the release read. "The driver was not wearing a seat belt." Witnesses who have information about the crash were asked to call the CPD's Traffic Department at (513) 352-2514.
