Charleston Coroner IDs victim in fatal motorcycle crash
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) - The Charleston County Coroner released the name of the victim who was killed in a motorcycle crash that occurred Monday on the ramp to I-26 West near Coming Street at the Septima P. Clark Parkway. Coroner Bobbi Jo O'Neal identified the motorcyclist as Oakley Meador, a 24-year-old male from Ladson. The Charleston County Police Department says Meador lost control, struck the barrier, and fell from the overpass onto a parking lot below. The Coroner confirmed that Meador was wearing a helmet during the incident. The incident remains under investigation.
