Car crashes into Attleboro home
There were no significant injuries after a car crashed into a home on South Main St. in Attleboro early Saturday morning. According to the Attleboro Fire Department, the crash happened at around 6 a.m., and resulted in heavy damage to the building's porch. Upon arriving on scene, the AFD found debris from a fence scattered around the house, as well as three damaged cars-- two of which they were able to determine had been hit directly by the car before it crashed into the house. Several porch supports were damaged in the crash, according to the AFD, but no structural damage to the house was found. The driver of the car refused transport to a local hospital, and the home's occupants were unhurt. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
