Car accident on I-10 near Geronimo closes road, 2 injured
In East-Central El Paso, a severe vehicle rollover on Sunday evening, Dec. 21 has affected traffic and caused three individuals to be taken to the hospital, with one sustaining serious injuries. The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. on Interstate 10 East near Geronimo. Emergency services are on the scene, and El Paso Police are conducting an investigation. Footage of the crash has been shared by FitFam on social media. The Fire Department reported that one person was transported with serious injuries, while two others have non-life-threatening injuries. A vehicle caught fire but has been extinguished, and it seems to have rolled off the highway onto Gateway East. As a result, all eastbound lanes of I-10 are closed, along with the Gateway East and U.S. 54 North and South interchange ramps to I-10 East. The Fire Department has deployed teams to both locations.
