Buchanan Trail closed west of Greencastle for serious, possible fatal crash
ANTRIM TOWNSHIP- First responders have closed PA-16 to all travel near the Conococheague Creek for a serious crash that has numerous agencies at it. Calls came in around 1pm for a reported crash near the Greencastle Minimart/Tallhelm's Gas Station on PA-16, Buchanan Trail West and near the bridge over the Conococheague Creek. News Talk 1037FM has learned that the roadway is closed between Grant Shook Road and Hill Road for first responders to work the scene. Additionally, numerous people have reported to News Talk that the Franklin County Coroner's Office is at the scene in some capacity. Expect extended delays on PA-16 near Greencastle and avoid it if heading to or from Mercersburg.
