Bridge on Highway 11 shut down after multiple-vehicle collision
The Slidell Fire Department has announced that the U.S. Highway 11 Bridge is closed in both directions at Lake Pontchartrain due to a multi-vehicle accident involving four cars and a boat. First responders are currently at the scene. Motorists are advised to consider using I-10 Twin Span as an alternative route until further notice.
