Bicyclist hospitalized with significant injuries after traffic accident
A bicyclist was hospitalized with “significant injuries” following a traffic accident in Fletcher on Tuesday morning, according to Fletcher Police Department Chief Dan Terry. The accident occurred around 11:47 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, at the U.S. 25 and Old Airport Road intersection between a vehicle and a bicyclist. LOCAL NEWS Terry said the bicyclist crossed the intersection “against” the red light in front of moving southbound traffic on U.S. 25, making the bicyclist “at fault.” The bicyclist was taken to Mission Hospital with “significant injuries,” and Terry says he expects an update on the injuries on Friday, June 26.
