At least 5 vehicles involved in rollover crash on westbound I-240 in OKC
The westbound lanes of Interstate 240 are closed after several vehicles were involved in a rollover and pile-up crash Tuesday morning in Oklahoma City. Sky 5, which is the only news helicopter in the air on weekday mornings, showed several vehicles involved in a crash on westbound I-240 near Eastern Avenue. Sky 5 Pilot Chase Rutledge said as many as five vehicles had to be towed from the scene. >> Check out traffic conditions across Oklahoma here.One of the vehicles was overturned while three others were damaged and piled up along a concrete barrier. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says all westbound lanes of I-240 at Eastern Avenue are closed. The crash is causing a significant backup that extends at least 2 miles to Sunnylane Road. Traffic is being diverted at Bryant Avenue. It's unknown whether anyone was injured.
