One person injured in Charleston interstate crash

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WOWK) - One person was taken to the hospital after a vehicle crash in Charleston. According to the Charleston Police Department, the single-vehicle crash happened shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday near the I-64/I-77 Split of I-77 South. Police say a southbound pickup truck made contact with the wall and went over the wall into the rock quarry below. According to the CPD, the driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
