9-year-old injured in Lynchburg car accident
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) - At 4:23 p.m. on Feb. 25, Lynchburg first responders arrived on scene to a car accident involving an injured pedestrian on the 2300 block of Old Forest Road. The pedestrian was identified by authorities as a 9-year-old male. He was observed lying in the roadway with serious but non-life-threating injuries. The Lynchburg Fire Department provided immediate medial attention, and he was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital. The investigation is ongoing.
