77-year-old man killed in boating accident on Fort Gibson Lake
Authorities say a 77-year-old Oklahoma man has died in a boating accident on Fort Gibson Lake. Around 9:30 p.m. on June 20, emergency crews were called to a boating accident at Paradise Cove Marina on Fort Gibson Lake. Investigators say a boat was pulling into a slip when a passenger, identified as 77-year-old Marshal White, fell off of the bow of the boat and into the water. White did not resurface. His body was recovered by the Cherokee Nation Marshals dive team on June 21 in approximately 20 feet of water.
