3 seriously hurt in Columbiana County crash: OSHP
SALEM TWP., Ohio (WKBN) -- Three people were seriously hurt in a crash in Columbiana County early Wednesday morning. The crash happened about 1 a.m. at the intersection of State Route 45 and Teegarden Road in Salem Township. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), a car heading south on State Route 45 was hit by the driver of a pickup truck traveling east on Teegarden Road, who failed to stop at the intersection. All occupants of the vehicles were injured. One person was flown by a medical helicopter from the scene. The other two were taken by ambulance. All three are in critical but stable condition, according to OSHP. No one was wearing a seat belt, according to the Patrol. The crash is under investigation.
