3 injured after bus crashes into car, storefront in Western Mass.
Three people were injured after an SUV and PVTA bus crashed into one another, causing major damage to a storefront in Springfield, Massachusetts, the city's fire department said. The crash happened just after 7:30 a.m. Saturday on Main Street in Springfield. The bus driver and two people riding inside the involved SUV were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries. A photo from the scene showed the bus after it jumped the curb, crashing into a business and taking out its awning along with a nearby street sign. The bus sustained major damage, with the entire front of the bus completely destroyed. It is unclear what other structural damage the affected building suffered.Main Street has reopened since the crash.
