2 confirmed dead after 3-vehicle crash in Sterling County: Authorities
SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Two fatalities have been confirmed following a three-vehicle collision that occurred in Sterling County on Monday, according to the Sterling County Sheriff's Office. In a statement issued on July 14, the sheriff's office said that it was dispatched to the scene of a three-vehicle collision on Texas State Highway 158 near the Glasscock County line at approximately 7 p.m. on July 13. Officers arrived at the scene, and injuries and two confirmed fatalities were reported. "Prayers go out to all parties involved," SCSO said. SCSO stated that the Texas Department of Public Safety was investigating the crash and that no further information was available at the time. The sheriff's office advised drivers to exercise caution when driving in inclement weather. "We would like to remind everybody to please slow down especially in bad weather, remain cautious and alert," SCSO said.
