1 seriously injured in 4-vehicle crash on Bee Caves Road in Travis County
AUSTIN (KXAN) – Texas Department of Public Safety troopers and other law enforcement agencies are investigating a four-vehicle crash that left one person seriously injured Friday in western Travis County. The crash occurred at about 11:43 a.m. at the intersection of FM 2224, also known as Bee Caves Road, and Beardsley Lane, according to DPS. Authorities said one person was taken by STAR Flight to a local hospital with suspected serious injuries. The crash remained under investigation Friday afternoon. Traffic at the intersection was reduced to one lane in each direction as emergency crews and investigators worked at the scene. Lanes would later reopen just before 3 p.m., according to DPS.
