1 injured after car crash on I-240, Sam Cooper
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 240 left at least one person injured and lanes blocked early Wednesday morning. WREG crews captured photos of the scene, which showed two wrecked vehicles northbound on I-240 and Sam Cooper/Exit 12. One person was also seen being transported from the scene. TDOT says the crash took place around 4:50 a.m., causing the eastbound exit ramp to be closed. Three of the lanes are also currently blocked. Alternative routes can be found here. At this time, it is still unclear what caused the crash or if anyone else was injured. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
