1 dead in Lancaster County weekend crash, vehicle fire
LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)-- A vehicle crash and fire over the weekend left one person dead, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office. The coroner's office responded to the area of Route 283 at Cloverleaf Road in Mount Joy Township on Sunday, July 12, at 4:39 p.m. for a single-vehicle collision with a tree. The crash and subsequent vehicle fire closed the off-ramp for several hours. Coroner investigators identified the driver, who passed away in the incident, as 19-year-old Owen O'Hara of Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. O'Hara was transported to the Lancaster County Forensic Center following the crash. The coroner's office is continuing to investigate the cause and manner of his death.
