One person died and two were seriously injured in a multivehicle crash on I-75 in Collier County on Sunday night.>>Video above: Headlines for Feb. 16, 2026According to the Florida Highway Patrol, troopers responded to the scene of a three-vehicle crash at mile marker 70 at around 7:17 p.m.FHP said that a Buick sedan, driven by a 66-year-old Naples woman, was traveling west on I-75 in the outside lane. A Kia, being driven by a 60-year-old Lehigh Acres man with a 60-year-old female passenger, was traveling in the outside lane ahead of the Buick.A Toyota SUV, driven by a 52-year-old Miami man with a 14-year-old passenger, was traveling east on I-75 in the inside lane.FHP said that the front of the Buick crashed into the back of the Kia and the guardrail.
