A woman miraculously survived a terrifying accident in Los Angeles early Tuesday when her car crashed off a freeway transition lane and fell over 40 feet onto train tracks. Dramatic footage captured the overturned vehicle catching fire after the incident on the transition road from northbound 110 Freeway to northbound 5 Freeway at around 2:40 a.m. The driver managed to escape from the black Subaru and sustain only minor injuries. She decided to go to the hospital with a family member, as reported by news video service KNN. Firefighters descended to the tracks to put out the fire on the vehicle. Metrolink service was briefly halted as crews cleared the wreckage. The driver admitted to authorities that she was not intoxicated but had misjudged the turn, causing her to lose control of the car. The authorities are investigating the incident further.
